The urgency of health problems in Indonesia can be solved with On-demand health workers.

In 2023, like in previous years, we still face various health problems that require urgent treatment in Indonesia. The government needs to worry about health problems in Indonesia at this time. Health problems in Indonesia significantly impact people's quality of life and productivity and can cause a high economic burden

Several reasons why the government should be concerned about health problems in Indonesia include:

  1. Social and Economic Impacts Unmanaged health problems can have significant social and economic impacts. Communicable and non-communicable diseases can reduce productivity, increasehealthcaree costs, and disrupt economic development. High maternal and child mortality, for example, can disrupt future human development and economic growth.

  2. High Health burdens, such as infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, and mental health problems, require serious efforts to overcome them. A high health burden can drain health resources and the government's budget and disrupt the existing healthcare system.

  3. Access to Health Services is still a challenge in several regions in Indonesia. The government must ensure that all Indonesian people, including those living in remote areas, have adequate access to quality health services.

  4. Prevention and Health Promotion need to be emphasized to reduce the disease burden in the future. The government should prioritize disease prevention programs, health education, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles to increase people's awareness and healthy behavior.

  5. Preparedness for Health Challenges In the face of health challenges, such as disease outbreaks, climate change, and global health threats, governments need to be prepared and have adequate contingency plans. Addressing health problems proactively and comprehensively can help prevent the spread of disease and protect public health.

There are also several urgent health problems in Indonesia, including the COVID-19 pandemic, which is still a very urgent health problem in Indonesia. Even though the COVID-19 vaccination has started, challenges such as the spread of new variants, limited access to vaccines, adherence to health protocols, and handling of active cases still require serious attention from the government, health workers and the public to control the spread of the virus and protect public health. Apart from COVID-19, other infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, malaria and dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) are health problems that must be taken seriously. Efforts to prevent, diagnose, treat and control other infectious diseases are still needed to protect public health.

Therefore, on-demand health workers can overcome Indonesia's urgent public health problem because they can solve natural disasters or health crises, such as epidemics or disease outbreaks. In an emergency, on-demand health workers can provide fast and efficient health services, including prevention, early detection and case management. On-demand health workers can also assist in monitoring and managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension or heart disease. Using technology, patients can monitor their health conditions and consult with health professionals regularly for medication arrangements, meal planning, or healthy lifestyle management.
