Good nutrition is the main foundation of public health, especially in areas with limited access to health services such as rural areas and densely populated settlements. Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) has been an important center for public health services, especially for monitoring the growth and development of toddlers and pregnant women. However, challenges in accurately recording and evaluating nutritional status often arise due to the limited number of health workers in the field. To overcome this, the implementation of digital posyandu that integrates on-demand health workers is an innovative and effective solution.

Digital posyandu is a health service concept that utilizes digital technology to conduct data collection, monitoring, and health education more efficiently. By connecting on-demand health workers, such as nutritionists and midwives, through a digital platform, data collection on the nutritional status of the community can be done in real time and accurately, even though physical health workers are limited at the location.

Through digital posyandu, posyandu cadres in the field can input anthropometric data such as weight, height, and head circumference of babies or toddlers into the application. This data is then immediately evaluated by on-demand health workers who have expertise in interpreting nutritional status. This rapid evaluation allows the determination of a child's nutritional status—whether normal, malnourished, or at risk of stunting—with valid results based on health standards.

The main advantage of this system is the speed and accuracy in monitoring community nutrition. On-demand health workers can provide recommendations for appropriate nutritional interventions, such as providing additional food, dietary education, or referrals to health facilities if serious problems are found. This approach is very useful for reducing service gaps and accelerating responses to nutritional problems.

In addition, digital posyandu can also store data in an integrated system that facilitates reporting and analysis of community health trends on an ongoing basis. This makes it easier for the government and health services to create data-based policies that are more targeted and effective.

The main challenge in implementing digital posyandu is the availability of technological infrastructure such as a stable internet network and digital devices in remote areas. In addition, training of posyandu cadres and on-demand health workers to use the application is also very important so that the data collection and evaluation process runs smoothly.

Collaboration between the government, private sector, and local communities is needed to overcome these obstacles. Support from various parties will ensure equal access to technology and more inclusive health services.

Overall, the use of on-demand health workers in digital posyandu opens up new opportunities to improve the quality of data collection and evaluation of community nutritional status. This program not only strengthens basic health services, but also contributes significantly to efforts to prevent malnutrition and improve the welfare of the community as a whole.
